Perfectly Timed Connections

I was telling a friend the other day(as I left her a voice note) that there is something about the way she speaks to me that not only can I hear her, but it ignites something in me. As conversations with her and other women in my village continue, I am inspired to be 'more'. Now this is the tricky part...'more' often equates to a plethora of ideas that I never quiiiiteeee attempt to do anything with. Was I afraid to bring some of those ideas to life? Sometimes. Was I being lazy other times? Absolutely. But...what about that one 'thing' that I want to do...could I...should I? But...but...hmmmm...welll. There it is, ladies. That "but". The infamous pause that I always do, which ultimately leads to me doing nothing. I would be lying if I say I didn't still feel a nudge from the one idea. Can I be honest and say the one idea generates several thoughts. Is this part of my calling? Is my purpose wrapped up in moving this idea to execution?

Then out of the blue, I receive a call or text-you know...the God-wink. The God-wink is when I say God is graciously giving me some direction in the most unexpected places or in the most unexpected ways. That unexpected call or text often sheds light on something that I couldn't see previously. Most of the time, it uncovers my next step. And you know what...I'm like why couldn't I see that on my own? This is why it is important to have friends or connections that can speak to different aspects of your being. I personally don't believe one person can speak to every part of your being, but that's just my opinion. The perfectly timed conversations with just the right person GIVES.ME.LIFE!

So my question for you...what do you do when you have bright ideas? What's keeping you from sharing those ideas? What's keeping you from bringing those ideas to life? Hear me when I say, there is someone on your path that is waiting on you to step out so they can pass you the baton that moves you from thinking about it to DOING it. Sometimes that #mentor#coach#advocate is the gasoline you need to fuel your flame.
